Membership

The Club offers a variety of Membership options, with the majority of Members being in either the Full or 5-day Playing Categories.  Other categories include those for younger Adults and Juniors.

All playing Members are entitled to play either 5 or 7 days a week as determined by their membership category, both in General Play and in the wide range of Competitions open to the various sections of the Club.  Many members also enjoy representing the Club in matches, which range from very competitive events through to the more social and traditional fixtures.

The Club has committed to full equality. We also have an active and well-managed Junior Section; Knighton Heath Golf Club has an excellent junior section which is run by the Junior Organiser and Club Professional. With around 55 members, the club is proud to announce they have been accredited with the Golfmark award with the High Achiever status.

Our subscription rates are excellent value when compared to similar clubs locally.  All Playing and Social members are entitled to use of the Clubhouse facilities, and to enjoy their choice of the Club’s social events which range from Formal Dinners, to party nights with local groups / comedians and Quiz Evenings.

Gentlemen

The normal calendar has a monthly medal and/or stableford competition. These competitions are generally held on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday with each competition being run as an individual event.

Trophy competitions are currently held at weekends.

Ladies

The majority of this section meet regularly on a Tuesday morning and normally sees some form of competition for the members. Subject to other bookings time normally exists for social golf after the competitions.
Our ‘alternate day’ ladies who are unable to play on a Tuesday have an opportunity to play competitions, or social golf, with other ‘working’ ladies at weekends.
The club trophy competitions will be played either on a Sunday or a Tuesday.

Seniors

This section meet regularly on a Monday morning. This is generally the time they play their internal competitions whilst inter-club matches are normally played on another weekday.
