Following the Secretary of State’s announcement, the BCP Council area will be moving to Tier 4 from Thursday 31 December 2020.
Tier 4 restrictions and guidance must be followed from Thursday 31 December in a bid to drive down the rates of infection, protect vulnerable people and stop the spread of the virus.
The Tier 4 regulations instruct everyone to stay at home, which means residents must not leave or be outside of their homes, except where they have a specific purpose or a ‘reasonable excuse’. Exceptions include work, where people cannot work from home, education and childcare, and essential activities such as shopping for food or medicine, and for exercise.

Course closed tomorrow
This has been a difficult decision for the Management & Captain’s committee to reach and we apologise for the time that it has taken to inform you of this.
As everyone is no doubt aware the club is now in a Tier 4 area and golf can now only be played in 2 balls. Unfortunately there has not been enough time to recreate the tee bookings sheet for tomorrow and in the interests of conforming to the new guidelines, we have reluctantly made the decision to close the course tomorrow, Thursday 31 December 2020.
Bookings as from Friday 1 January 2021
* All casual bookings will be removed and re-scheduled for release at 14:00, tomorrow (31 December 2020), for the period Friday 1 to Sunday 17 January 2021.
* All competitions will be cancelled until further notice.
* The next release of casual bookings will be on Sunday 10 January 2021 at 18:00 for the period Monday 18 to Sunday 24 January 2021, thereafter each Sunday until further notice..
* 2 ball bookings only
* Members will be restricted to 3 rounds per week.
* No visitors or members guests
The Pro Shop will be closed, however a "Click & Collect" service will be in operation with the telephone line manned between 07:30 and 16:00.
The office will be open tomorrow from 10:00 to 13:00 for the payment of subscriptions via telephone only.
The office and the Pro Shop will be closed on Friday 1 January 2021.
We ask that members assist during this difficult time and abide by the restrictions for the safety of all.
