Knighton Heath Golf Club is a genuine heathland course situated on 90 acres of high ground beside Canford Heath offering a great place to play golf in Dorset.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, dedicated and professional Course Manager to lead our greenkeeping department and manage the golf course as we enter the next stage of our development plans.
The club have contracted MJ Abbotts to install a new greens’ tees and surrounds’ sprinkler system using Toro products. Work will commence in early December 2021 and is scheduled for completion by the end of March 2022. Included in the works is a new 300 000 litre storage tank fed by a borehole, which became operational in October 2021.
We are also commencing a heather regeneration programme.
We continue to invest in our machinery fleet, have started with our bunker restoration programme, tee drainage, as well as building on our staffing numbers and structure.
The successful applicant should have the drive, ability and leadership skills to manage these projects, whilst maintaining the course to the highest standards for our members and guests.
