Knighton Heath Golf Club – Ladies Section Buddy System
Welcome to Knighton Heath Golf Club. As a new member, the Ladies Section would like to offer you a ‘buddy’ to help support your integration into the club. We know that all new members come with different experiences and knowledge, some already know other members and/or have been members of a golf club before, so the buddy system is not mandatory. If you would like a buddy please speak to the Ladies Captain, her contact details are in the club diary. Also in your club diary are names of committee members for the current year, the club Policies and Byelaws and members names and telephone numbers.

This is a check list which your buddy can go through with you.
- A game with the Lady Captain (it’s tradition the Lady Captain “plays in” new members)
- A game with your buddy meet and get to know other lady members
- Introduce you to the various “roll up” groups and social events
- On course toilet code
- Ladies locker room code
- Ladies locker room noticeboard: what goes up and what to look for
- How to use your membership card, Club V1 and HowDidiDo apps (e.g. door access, handicap information, competition results.
- Meet the Pro-shop (including how any competition winnings are added to your account)
- How to use the Club V1 (log in and password information will be provided by the General Manager as part of your joining pack)
- How to book Ladies Section and mixed competition tee-times on HowDidiDo.
- Information about all ladies competitions is held in a folder in the locker room desk cupboard.
- How to sign-in on competition days and enter your score.
- Interclub (County match play competition for silver players) 0- 20.4 handicap index
- Woods (Match play competition for bronze players) 20.5 - 36.0 index
- Friendly matches- Often 4ball better ball or Greensomes played with another member against another club. Good fun and not taken too seriously!
- County notice board and county delegate.
